Antonia Antonia AntoniaCOLUMBIA, S.C. Columbia Police Department officers had searched for Sims throughout the week of Christmas however they could not track him down. Officers arrested Taylor Wardlaw and charged him with accessory following the murder incident as a result of Sims's death. According to authorities, Eddie Brown (aged 30) was accused of having been a part to his death. Sims was 26 years old when he was who was last seen in a residence at Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. According to police, his girlfriend Wardlaw identified Sims as missing on the night of Dec. 22. The body was discovered near the creek on Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford, verified that the body was the property of Sims. Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook confirms that Wardlaw was charged with murder and possessing weapons during the course of a brutal crime.
